It's important to raise awareness of the connection with commercial beekeeping and fruit and nut production production. Currently 99% of the food that is made possible by "pollination services" is pollinated by bees that are not treated well. Our monoculture production of fruits and nuts bares as much responsibility for the mistreatment of honeybees health as a misguided commercial beekeepers.
