HI Sarah, I know its a long time since this recipe was originally posted, but you suggest that each bar is 7.5g protein and the nutrition information says 3g protein if you cut it in 4 slices, so that's 1.5g per slice. A whole can of chick peas - surely its more than 1.5g per serving?<br/>]]></description>

Hi Mich! So happy to hear that you're appreciate these. :-) I don't see why frozen fruit wouldn't work? I think some blueberries, strawberries or mixed berries would be great! If you're a fellow coconut lover, tossing a little shredded unsweetened coconut in there could also be super yummy. For savory... hmm, maybe some chopped toasted nuts or hemp seeds? Typically I love rosemary for a savory flavor (like on potato chips), but I'm skeptical that an herby flavor would go with the sweet bananas + nut butter. Let me know what you try next! :)<br/>]]></description>
